Why do you need a Residential EPC?
A residential EPC for your property has to be available for potential buyers or tenants from the moment you begin to market your property for either sale or rent. It needs to be carried out by an approved domestic energy assessor who will visit your property, assess its energy efficiency in relation to a number of key metrics and then produce a report. This allows potential buyers or tenants to easily compare the energy efficiency of different properties before entering into a contract.
The report also outlines what can be done to improve its overall energy performance and drive down bills. This can be helpful if you want to make improvements to your current property or are looking for a property that can be renovated. The figures provided for energy use as well any savings that could be made are calculated for a typical household living in that property rather than your own unique requirements.

What we offer
Covering the UK, Focus 360 Energy has 10 years’ experience offering energy performance certificates (EPC’s).
We offer both residential and commercial EPC certificates to a vast number of clients including estate agents, solicitors, property landlords, facility managers and the general public.
We can issue your EPC Certificate on the same day as your survey.
All residential buildings that are available to buy or rent must have an EPC Certificate.
It is the landlord’s or seller’s responsibility to obtain an EPC Certificate from an approved Domestic Energy Assessor. The energy assessor will need to access all rooms as well as the loft. They are also required to inspect heating systems and controls, take measurements and take photographs of all key data included in the survey.
Landlords in England and Wales are required by law to get an EPC rating of band E or above to let their properties to new tenancies or renewals.

Do you have concerns about the minimum energy efficiency standards (MEES)?
The Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) legislation means that from April 2020 landlords cannot grant a new tenancy for a commercial property with an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rated below an E unless they have a valid exemption in place.
To ensure that you’re compliant and save time and money, our team will assess your property and provide you with specialist advice on how to quickly improve the energy efficiency rating of your building.
