curo 1

Curo Group

This was a long-term contract spanning three years predominantly covering the South West with a focus on key areas such as Bristol and Bath. We undertook a multitude of Commercial EPCs within this often at short notice to facilitate the requirements of the group. Multiple apartment blocks required a MEES assessment to bring the EPC ratings up to a C standard.

staustel

St Austell Brewery Group

This was a large project undertaken with the view to survey roughly 130 pubs within the group. A team of multiple assessors headed by our director Sam Guest undertook multiple site visits per day to survey the portfolio in good time. Each pub was contacted by the brewery group and ourselves with a route planned for each assessor for maximum efficiency. Any property that was found to be below an E rating had a MEES report alongside the EPC.

camden mkt

Camden Market

The vast majority of the units within Camden were selected for EPCs with many not having current EPCs. This was undertaken in two parts the first being a team of Assessors on-site collecting the data on each unit this was done over a month within the normal operating hours of the market. The second part of the task was modelling and then lodging the roughly 320 EPCs. MEES were provided for any units that fell below the minimum threshold of an E.

outcomes first group 1

Outcomes First Group

A group of 79 sites were selected to have EPCs done on all buildings on each site. The sensitive nature of the sites dictated that one DBS-checked assessor undertook the entirety of the project with sites spread all over the UK.  This was done on schedule and with a degree of flexibility due to the lack of site-specific information our team had to think on their feet to make this a success. Any site falling below the minimum standard has a MEES report produced also.

Mike Barlow

We were instructed to undertake an Energy statement on 8 holiday lets at Portpean House in St. Austell. Leaning on our experience of the Cornwall council regulations we Identified that the initial inquiry of a SAP report was going to need to be supplemented with an energy statement to appease planning. This was coupled with the compulsory energy summary tool. With this particular project, we initially raised the need for some solar PV but awaited feedback from the council to weigh up the cost of maximizing solar PV versus the energy offset payment. Due to the cost of the offset payment additional solar PV was modelled to ensure the best use of our customer’s budget.
