- Climate Emergency DPD (adopted February 2023) advances Cornwall’s goal of carbon neutrality by 2030, introducing policies on renewable energy, sustainable construction, and climate resilience.
- Policy SC1 requires new developments to achieve a 19% improvement in energy efficiency over national standards and incorporate on-site renewable energy.
- In line with Cornwall’s planning standards, we have utilized the Energy Summary Tool, developed by Cornwall Council, to support the energy assessment for the eight holiday cottages.
- Focus 360 Energy was approached directly by the client to provide an Energy Statement for a unique development of eight holiday cottages in Cornwall—seven new builds and one conversion.
